Anti-Money Laundering Policy
Moneyguniuss is committed to preventing money laundering and terrorist financing. This policy explains the controls we apply to every client and transaction.
1. Our commitment
We comply with applicable anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorist financing (CTF) laws. We do not accept clients or funds where we suspect any link to criminal activity.
2. Know Your Customer (KYC)
Before an account can trade or withdraw, we verify each client's identity. We typically request:
- a valid government-issued photo ID (passport, national ID or driving licence);
- proof of address dated within the last 3–6 months (utility bill or bank statement);
- additional information about source of funds or wealth where required.
3. Enhanced due diligence
Higher-risk clients, including politically exposed persons (PEPs) and clients from higher-risk regions, are subject to enhanced checks and ongoing review.
4. Sanctions screening
All clients are screened against international sanctions and watch lists at onboarding and on an ongoing basis.
5. Payment rules
- Deposits must come from accounts in the client's own name; third-party payments are not accepted.
- Withdrawals are returned to the original funding source wherever possible.
- Cash deposits are not accepted.
6. Transaction monitoring
We monitor deposits, withdrawals and trading activity for unusual patterns. We may request further information, delay transactions or suspend accounts while a review is carried out.
7. Reporting
Where we suspect money laundering or terrorist financing, we report it to the relevant authorities as required by law. We may not be permitted to inform the client of such a report.
8. Record keeping
We keep identification and transaction records for at least five years after the business relationship ends.
